Zindziswa Mandela, daughter of former president Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela has died.

Zindzi Mandela’s passing was confirmed by the family on Monday morning, with initial reports indicating that the ambassador to Denmark had died on Sunday night. The cause of death has not been confirmed yet.

Mandela, who was born to former South African first black democratic  P resident Nelson Mandela and former South African Struggle heroine who led the ANC women's league, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela on 23 December 1960 in Soweto, Zindzi stood in as the First Lady of South Africa until her father remarried in 1998 after her parent"s controversial separation. In 2014, Zindziswa Mandela was appointed as the ambassador to Denmark. Lala kahle mbokoto - May her soul rest in peace.
