His anticipated debut album on Paradise Sound System titled "Letters" is officially out now! Thaiwanda is a perfect fit with the new German-South African initiative taking independent African artists to the world. Thaiwanda reveals a sound that transcends genres, and that articulates and integrates African sounds and rhythms into a rich fusion of musical textures and sonics.

The Zimbabwean-born Thaiwanda is known for his hitmaker status, having worked on chart-topping tracks with musical talent spanning the Africa continent. Among these are co-production and songwriting on “Phumakim” off South African Cassper Nyovest’s two time platinum-selling album "Tsholofelo", on production and a feature on “No Stress” off the award-winning A Few Good Poemsby Zimbabwe’s Tehn Diamond, and co-production and a feature (alongside Riky Rick, Reason and Kwesta) on “Mercy” off Dj Sliqe’s Injayam Vol 1.

With his fresh, pan-African and globally accessible sound, Thaiwanda is poised to attract new audiences to a fanbase that currently straddles the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Zimbabwe, Botswana, China and South Africa. Either solo or through  production features,  and co-writing on TRACE, MTV and Channel O, and the recipient of multiple awards nominations, Thaiwanda is eyeing a discerning global audience in 2020 with his trio of irresistible tracks built around an arsenal of anthemic hooks, smouldering melodies and masterful production.
