In an extraordinary collaboration between two of South Africa’s most iconic institutions, the NIROX Foundation and Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden proudly present the Cradle to Cape Music Concert, a celebration of music, nature, and community. Taking place on Sunday, 8 December 2024, this one-of-a-kind event bridges the Cradle of Humankind and the heart of the Cape, bringing together a stellar lineup of South African musical talent.
For over a decade, the NIROX Foundation has hosted world-class music concerts in its outdoor amphitheatre nestled in the Cradle of Humankind. These concerts have become a beacon for celebrating South African artists, providing a unique platform for creative expression across all genres of music. The Foundation’s innovative music residency programme has nurtured dynamic collaborations, offering artists a space to connect, rehearse, and inspire one another fostering the creation of culturally significant and uniquely curated concert experiences.
Now, this spirit of collaboration travels to Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden, where, for more than 30 years, have offered a globally renowned stage for musicians to perform amidst breathtaking natural beauty. This synergy of culture and nature sets the stage for an unforgettable summer concert series.
