The magic of Vegas lit up Johannesburg as Emperors Palace hosted the glamorous Vegas Dreams Celebrity Charity Challenge, where an evening of entertainment, celebrity performances, and classic casino games turned into a night of meaningful giving. By the close of the evening, an incredible R100 000 had been raised for charity. The funds were shared equally between the Peermont Education Trust (R50 000) and the Peermont Children’s Trust (R50 000), ensuring that both education and child-focused initiatives in the community will benefit from the generosity of the night.
The Vegas-inspired event featured dynamic sets from DJ and influencer Jessica Mashaba, who boasts an incredible global reach and brought high-energy beats to the stage . The Vegas Dreams’ launch also featured GL_CEEJAY, the genre-bending vocalist whose soulful hits Uzizwa Kanjan’ and Tholukuthi have cemented him as one of South Africa’s rising stars. Their performances transformed the Emperors Palace Reign Restaurant into a true Vegas mini-Super Bowl, blending rhythm, soul, and spectacle.
