Castle Lite, Global partner of Rugby World Cup Sevens, lit up Cape Town with a-one-of-a-kind spectacular three-day experience.

More than 120 000 rugby and entertainment enthusiasts, one of them being the Legendary Brian Habana, filled up the mother city, at Cape Town Stadium in three days to attend the biggest entertainment and sporting experience in the world. The Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022.


The 3 day experience was star studded with appearances from Mandisa Williams, Kyle Brown and many more. Fans flocked to see them and were more than delighted to take pictures with these iconic stars.

 

It comes as no surprise that a few of South Africa’s iconic sports and entertainment stars were also spotted at the Rugby World Cup Fan Village, unlocked by Castle Lite. Stars such as Moozlie, Carpo the comedian, Costa Tich, Just Gilling,  Mark Buckner and not forgetting Anele Papua; one of South Africa’s biggest social media influencers. Of cause the biggest names in Rugby at the moment.

 

Attendees could not hide their excitement as they cheered for the rugby in stadium, and sang along to some of South Africa’s biggest hits and artists in the Fan Village. The Fan Village was a game-changing first for the fans, full of entertainment, the local acts fired up the international audience. Artists included the show stopping; YoungstaCPT and the ever so talented Blxckie, just to name a few.

 

 

The fact remains, music and sports are two languages the whole world understands and speaks fluently. The 3 day entertainment at the Fan Village joined both the local and international spectators through song and dance. You just had to be there! This was a jam packed entertainment festival. Fans sure did keep it lite whilst ‘unlocking refreshment’ with Castle Lite


Artisanal food was also quite the hit with food stalls offering a variety of mouth-watering cuisine and of cause Castle Lite to lite’n up the celebratory mood.  You know the vibes! it was definitely an event made in sports and entertainment heaven that lit up the sunny mother land.

 

Watching it on social media under the #LiteSideOf7s was just not enough, you had to be there to experience this world class-event.

 

 

Festivities were high, the vibe electric and the performances were definitely out of this world. The Rugby World Cup Sevens experience was definitely the biggest to hit our shores in the last five years.
