Finding Our Way to Fusion Art Fashion

Smile Artists Africa in partnership with Sanlam Private Wealth, officially kicks off the countdown to its third annual Fusion Art Fashion event, which will be hosted at the Cradle Boutique Hotel, on the 8th and 9th October.

The event raises funds for reconstructive surgery in breast cancer survivors, drive breast cancer awareness and encourage breast cancer screening. The auction art pieces are from artists such as Lerato Motau, Siphiwe Mhlambi, Mary Sibande, Sanusi Olatunji, and Lebohang Motaung to mention a few internationally recognized artists. The art exhibition is designed to reflect Jozi streets, and guests are encouraged to find their way through it, to emerge on the other side.

This year’s theme ‘Finding Our Way’ promises to dig profoundly into what it means to be a spiritual being. Featuring spiritualists such as Taz Singh – a medium with 20 years of experience helping clients navigate health, careers, futures, etc. Natasha McCloy- a Johannesburg palmist and tarot card reader. Gugu Mkhize- a modern holistic traditional healer with five years’ experience, practicing new age healing and advocating for spirituality; and Neo Mavuso – a spiritual ‘inyanga’ healer that practices energy healing through reiki, aura cleansing, spiritual readings, and prophetic divination. Guests will embark on a memorable spiritual journey of self-discovery. The event seeks to break down cultural barriers, embrace a range of spiritual and cultural contrasts, all while joining people from all walks of life to buy art and support the cause.

The two-day event is hosted by renowned songstress and media personality Unathi Nkayi and will feature media personalities such as Minnie Dlamini, Kefilwe Mabote, Melanie Bala, Sihle Bolani, and Dr Philile Mdletshe who are all contributing their time and brand affiliation to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Fusion Art Fashion has also collaborated with prominent designers such as Naked Ape, Bathini Designs, Sober Designs, Afrikan Swiss, Urban Zulu SA, Mantsho Lifestyle, TSHEPO Jeans and more, to dress artists, celebrities and celebrated South Africans in an incredible Fusion of Art and Fashion.

Guests can get their tickets at www.ticketpro.co.za and become part of a community inspiring action for a cancer-free South Africa. They may also donate on the same site to positively impact the lives of fellow citizens.
