SPIRITBANGER: THE BEAT BEHIND THE HITS!
It is always a pleasure to be swept away by the serenity of good music. From the veins of Kwamashu, Bongani Nyembe known better as Spirit Banger is a music production house in his right. The Afrotainment artist and producer has a bag of hits and he keeps whipping them out one after the other. He has worked with the greatest that the music industry has to offer in their different dynamics displaying his versatility.
Working with the likes of Zakes Bantwini, Phuzekhemisi, Big Nuz, Zanda Zakuza and NaakMusiq just to name a few. He has a number of hits such as Memeza where
he worked with Benny Maverick and the astound Dladla Mshunqisi and hasn’t stopped bringing the heat.
He brought another Spirit Banger "Shaya" which featured the lyrical Beast and musical maestro Mondli Ngcobo and more hits such as Thutha and Falling with Mduduzi. The dance and electric vibe Spirit Banger brings in his music,- always keeps the happy feet on the dance floor.
It is no tale that Durban has immense talent and it keeps getting bigger and better. The superb producer has made not only music for people to vibe to but also TV show title sequences, adverts and radio jingles.
Bongani has a taste of his own where he wants to broaden his horizons as an artist. He wishes to work with songbird Simmy and the artistic Msaki amongst other great talents on his radar.
Bongani recently worked with the “Kings Of The Weekend” dropping the chart topping smash hit "Okokoko". The song features the legendary Thebe and Unathi Msengana.
Still brewing hits, Spirit Banger worked some more magic with Dladla Mshunqisi, Mi Casa's J Something and Beast. The recent collaboration "Sihamba Nabo" will leave one licking their speakers.
The continuity of Spiritbanger's journey as an artist and producer is still on track. He has his pot set on the fire cooking an EP which will be unveiled in due time.
