Last night CRUZ Vintage Black Vodka hosted one of the country’s most prestigious fashion gatherings with the who’s who of the SA fashion and entertainment world in attendance. Officiating the opening of South Africa Fashion Week And what a glitzy affair it was! THE 12TH ANNUAL FEATHERS AWARDS TURNED UP THE LOVE

The 12 th  annual Feather Awards took place last night at the home of the Constitution in Braamfontein, Constitution Hill and what an evening it was. Having to adapt to the new ‘norm’ the awards observed social distancing with an intimate evening filled with electrifying performances, emotional acceptance speeches and plenty of energy. Synonymous  for it’s colourful live entertainment and witty commentary, the carefully scaled down affair did not fail to deliver with outstanding live performance from the super talented legendary songstress Gloria Bosman. South African Fashion Week and Mall of Africa Join Forces with Through-the-Line Designer Collections

  South African Fashion Week (SAFW) and Mall of Africa will be launching its recently concluded three-year partnership by staging South Africa’s first hybrid designer collections showcase this year. In recognition of the COVID-19 requirements for social distancing, the ground-breaking fashion event will combine a three-day streaming programme of 26 digital runway shows from 22 – 24 October. After an intense judging process and deliberation, the 4 th  Royalty Soapie Awards nominations are in. South African fans geared up to celebrate their favourite stars in the soapie world when the nominees were revealed in a broadcast on Wednesday, 26 August at 18:00 on SABC 1 and streamed live from the RSAs YouTube and Facebook platforms. Hosted by the exceptionally sensational, Winnie Ntshaba and the remarkable comedian, Mpho Popps the nominees' announcement was a display of great possibilities for the entertainment industry as the RSAs took centre stage in an opulent theatre set up.   The nominations announcement was recorded in studio and included commentary by previous Royalty Soapie Awards winners, who gave us insight of the soapie world.   Supported by The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, funding the youth and industry development made possible by the Royalty Soapie Foundation and the National Lotteries Commission, broadcasting channel SABC 1 Mzansi Fo Sho, and make-up
