With cutting edge fashion from over 27 talented South African designers taking to the runway, SA Fashion Week 2022 is set to launch in Johannesburg  this coming weekend. Kicking off SA Fashion Week celebrations, luxe vodka brand and official headline sponsor for the showcase, Cruz Vodka will host an exclusive opening party like no other, this Wednesday. South Africa Fashion Week (SAFW) will stage the Autumn/Winter 23 Collections at Mall of Africa, its home of the past three years, in October . Twenty-seven   designers will launch their new collections on the runway from Thursday 20th October to Saturday 22nd October and forty will exhibit at the Trade Show on the 23rd and 24thOctober in the Crystal Court. All the allure of live is set to return to local fashion as relaxed lock-down levels allow Mall of Africa to stage South African Fashion Week Autumn/Winter Collections on the runway to a select VIP audience from 28 – 30 October 2021. The shows featuring 29 top designers, will then again be streamed from 4 November to a wider audience including international media, designer clients and local and global followers of fashion. The 2020 show broadcasts were viewed by over 73545 people worldwide and have therefore become a key new addition to the amplification of SA fashion marketing, says director Lucilla Booyzen.
