MISS SOUTH AFRICA 2021 TOP 10 FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

Cape Town, Tuesday, August 3, 2021:  This year’s Top 10 Miss South Africa finalists – one of whom will be crowned Miss South Africa 2021 on Saturday, October 16 live from Grand West Arena in Cape Town – have been announced. For the second consecutive year, the pageant will take place in the Mother City and will be simulcast live on M-Net (DStv channel 101) and Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) at 17:00, as well as live-streamed on the My DStv App. International audiences can also tune in via the online platform at misssa.live.   The contestants represent four provinces – Gauteng has four (with one from Tshwane), followed by the Western Cape with three, the Eastern Cape with two and Kwa-Zulu Natal with one entrant. Miss South Africa 2020 will be crowned at The Table Bay hotel in an entertainment-packed event on Saturday, October 24, from 17h00. The event will be screened live on M-Net and Mzansi Magic and will also be streamed online. For Tunzi it seems surreal: “I was a contestant on stage just a year ago and was in awe of the women on the judging panel.”   Tunzi went on to take the Miss South Africa crown before winning Miss Universe: “I know what it is like first hand to be in the job that these incredible women are applying for. NOMZAMO MBATHA TO HOST MISS SOUTH AFRICA 2020 PAGEANT FINALE

Leading actress, media personality and humanitarian Nomzamo Mbatha has been announced as the host of this year’s dazzling Miss South Africa pageant.   It will be the first time that the South African actress and businesswoman will host Miss SA, although she is no novice to the stage having hosted multiple international events outside of the African continent.   Miss South Africa 2020 will be crowned at The Table Bay hotel in an entertainment-packed event on Saturday, October 24, from 17h00.
