It ’s time to spice things up, Mondli Makhoba joins the cast ensemble of Nikiwe to play Nikiwe’s uncle Bheki Radebe, Themba Radebe’s (Muzi Mthabela) younger brother from Thursday the 3 rd  of August at 6.30PM on  e.tv . Bheki and Themba have different mothers. His mother was killed just when Bheki started working as a truck driver. First wife to Funani Radebe whilst MaSibisi was the second wife in Joburg. Bheki and his siblings grew up hating MaSibisi and her children as they saw her as the woman who took their father away. He is back now to make things right with the Radebe family, to reconnect and find a woman that he can love, and it turns that woman is not so far away. Creating a name and cementing yourself as an actor in South Africa has it's tolls, but for KZN born actor Mondli Thusi the journey came with a lot of surprises. Growing up in New Castle, Mondli has always had his mind fixated on becoming an entertainer.  Mondli Thusi says his career as an entertainer started as a community radio host at New Castle, he started as a news reader, then a breakfast show host. He was later appointed a station programme's manager. He got a call from his cousin, the popular poligamist Musa Msekleku to work behind the scenes as a production assistant intern.  Working on the production of uThando nesthembu has opened Mondli's eyes to chase his dream of becoming an actor. Even though it is from a distance, the cast and crew of 1Magic’s popular telenovela,  The River,  have come together to offer empathy and support to a colleague who tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday morning.  Tshedza Pictures, the production house behind The River, has since halted shooting and all the cast and crew have been asked to self-isolate while the necessary health protocols are being implemented. Mzansi Magic's The River was a major winner at the awards, scooping 10 different prizes, including Best Achievement in Directing - Telenovela and Best Telenovela. The show's Sindi Dlathu won the Best Actress - Telenovela award for her often-flawless performances as Lindiwe on the show, while Mary-Anne Barlow won Best Supporting Actress- Telenovela for her character Gail. Kgomotso Christopher may have left  Scandal!  but she still bagged a Best Supporting Actress - TV Soapie award for her role as Yvonne Langa.
