Big Brother Mzansi Sammy M’s Dream for the R2m Grand Prize Ends as she becomes second housemate to be Evicted

Image
Last night was a wrap of a highly dramatic week with an equally dramatic live eviction show with Sammy M becoming the second housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother Mzansi S'ya Mosha house. Her eviction follows a nomination show that saw the Head of House, Disruptor Neo, saving and replacing McJunior with Zee. In her on-stage interaction with host Lawrence, Sammy M shed light on the nature of her relationship with Willy and described him as a crush that turned into a kissing buddy. She let the audience in on where her mind was in the house, saying she did not want to wear her heart on her sleeve and reveal her feelings for him. Meanwhile, in the house, the housemates expressed an expected shock at her departure, with Yolanda visibly devastated by this eviction. It may be considered an unexpected reaction from Yolanda when Sammy M described her as the one housemate she couldn't stand in the house. However, Sammy M did express her appreciation of being in the Big Brother Hou

The first week of Big Brother Mzansi – S’ya Mosha has served what was promised – drama – including the first eviction of the season. Last night, 28 January, Mali became the first housemate to be evicted leaving 22 housemates in the house with 19 still vying for the R2million grand prize. The eviction took everyone by surprise as it has not been a norm for any housemate to be evicted in the first week of the show. However, because it’s the year of  S’ya Mosha , this is proof that the game is not as you would expect. The show was opened by Mellow & Sleezy ft Tman Xpress performing their hit  Imnandi Lento  which was followed by host Lawrence Maleka taking the audience through the highlights of the week that was. The season’s first Head of House, Mich was safe from eviction and so was Sammy M who won immunity during the week. However, Mich’s reign was not without drama as the housemates lost their first wager and also faced challenges of confrontational housemates.  During the show, s

Another two bite the dust: Thobeka ‘Venus’ Mtshali and Naledi ‘Nale’ Mogadime have been evicted from the Big Brother Mzansi house

Image
Brother Mzansi   housemates shook as Venus and Nale are the latest to be evicted.  Yup, we’ve reached that stage of the game where no one is safe, no matter how popular they might be.   When asked by host Lawrence Maleka if she saw her eviction coming, Richards Bay native Venus said: “Yes. I felt too peaceful the whole week, weirdly calm. I’ve been in the   Big Brother   house for seven weeks, that was the first time where I felt so at ease. I knew that there was a shock that’s coming.”   When asked about her in-house romances with B.U. and Themba, and who of the two she might choose to be with, she said: “I’ll let time tell. I don’t know the versions of themselves outside of the house. I played my game; I don’t know how they played theirs.”   Nale from Pretoria wasn’t nominated for eviction by anyone but ended up in danger after Libo used his Head of House veto power to nominate her – this was particularly shocking because the two had formed a close friendship on the show.     A smili

Big Brother Left Fans Shook As Yoli, Norman and Vyno are booted from Big Brother Mzansi With Triple Eviction

Image
After one of the most dramatic weeks so far on this season’s   Big Brother Mzansi , Yoli, Norman and Vyno became the latest Housemates to be evicted from Biggie’s house. This was the first triple eviction.  #BBM fans are not pleased with triple eviction. Speaking to host Lawrence Maleka, Yolanda Glover aka Yoli said she wasn’t surprised. “I expected it. The competition I was up against was tight.”   When asked if she thought anyone betrayed her by nominating her, the teacher from Pinetown said she felt there was no malice behind her Housemates’ votes. “I genuinely think I was nominated because I hadn’t stood up yet. They were like, ‘She hasn’t been nominated yet, so let her be nominated’. I trust my gut.”   For Norman Nhlapo, he appreciated every moment in the house. “The only prize wasn’t the R2-million – it was the exposure to tell my story and to represent my people,” said the daycare worker based in Hillbrow, Johannesburg. “I didn’t survive, I lived.”   He said he was proud that he

“Heavy is the head that wears the crown”, as returning Head of House Sis Tamara wields their power in Big Brother Mzansi.

Image
After a drama-filled eviction show on Sunday evening, Sis Tamara has, for the second time, emerged as the new Head of House in the   Big Brother Mzansi   house – meaning that they have immunity from eviction next time Biggie wields the axe! As the new Head of House, Sis Tamara was awarded the opportunity to select their own deputy head of house, to which they bestowed the title to Venus winning the respect and, dare we say, trust for the returning Head of House.   After this week’s surprise double eviction, Biggie threw another curveball to keep the housemates on their toes. For the first time this season, all housemates were given 45 seconds to nominate three housemates for the live eviction. Sis Tamara furthered on their nomination, explaining that they were nominating Themba because he only participates in the challenges to gain immunity, Terry because she is direct competition, and Vino because he is coasting, cruising through, and is too comfortable in  Big Brother Mzansi  – ouch!

Zino and B.U. leave the Big Brother Mzansi house in double eviction shocker

Image
The well-liked baby of the house Zino and the sometime bad boy B.U. are the latest Housemates to be evicted from   Big Brother Mzansi . Leaving the house the day after his 22 nd  birthday, Joburger Adindu Asuzu aka Zino told  BB Mzansi  host Lawrence Maleka that it was a privilege and “amazing” to have been on the show.   When asked who he was going to miss from the House, he said it was Yoli. Zino said, “I really appreciated her. She was amazing and she gave me an older sister – I’ve never had that before.”   Joburg-based Durbanite B.U., real name Luthando Mthembu, said to Lawrence he believed some Housemates were playing the game quite well, such as Nale.   About his own journey on the show, he said, “I’ve learned a lot of lessons along the way, but one thing about me is I’m gonna be me. I wasn’t shaken at any point. If it makes sense to me, it doesn’t have to make sense to anybody else.”   When asked what was happening between him and Venuss, the self-described ‘Zulu Vegan’ simply s

Gash1 is ready to lead as the new Head of House in Big Brother Mzansi.

Image
Big Brother Mzansi  brings the age old saying of “Love Lives Here” to life in this week’s Head of House challenge. The three Valentine’s Day themed challenges stretched the housemates’ strategic acumen in their fight against the clock and against each other. The housemates gathered to fight for their love for the Big Brother House, as well as their hopes of winning R2 Million in this season of  Big Brother Mzansi.   The arena is set and ready to have the housemates turned contestant battle it out. Three stations for three games are tactfully placed around the room. The first challenge commences whereby the housemates have to drop as many heart sweets into the bottle in two minutes.   In this game of love and war, the housemates quickly learnt that you win some, and you lose some. Of the 15 housemates who had entered the challenge with equal chances of winning, only 5 progressed to the next round.   Tensions arose in the second challenge as the clock neared zero and hearts are broken se
