MTN Bushfire is renowned for its unique and eclectic music line-ups rooted in a pulsating celebration of diversity and spirit of inclusion. MTN Bushfire 2024 artist applications now open!

The 17 th  edition of the MTN Bushfire international festival of the arts will be held from 31 May – 02 June 2024, at House On Fire in the Kingdom of Eswatini. MTN Bushfire invites live performers of the highest calibre, who share the festival’s mission to celebrate creative expression while promoting social responsibility and inclusion, to send in their applications via our online application process.   Artist applications close 31 st  October 2023.  Application links can be found on the MTN Bushfire website Artists page at  www.bush-fire.com , as well as on our MTN Bushfire social media platforms.   MTN Bushfire looks for a diversity of musical styles and genres. 16th Edition Annual MTN Bushfire Was The Most Successful To Date

The 16th Edition of MTN Bushfire was once again a bucket list experience with more than  20,000 guests in attendance, who represented 50 countries. They experienced 87 different acts from 34 countries - a true reflection of unity in diversity and the bringing to life of MTN Bushfire’s guiding principles of inclusion, tolerance, and celebration through the Arts.  MTN Bushfire 2023 was a resounding success. There's literally everything for everyone at MTN Bushfire. M ore than a music festival, MTN Bushfire also runs a number of important cultural development initiatives. Prior to the festival kicking off the public, the annual Schools Festival took place with young people from the local communities taking part in a two-day arts education project. MTN Bushfire is thrilled to announce the return of MTN Bushfire Firefly music competition, with an exciting new development! The 2 023 edition is now also open to young and upcoming South African artists, expanding the 6-year-old series to new territories.  This year, the youthful music launch-pad opens its doors to both Eswatini and South African artists, creating expansive opportunities and larger reach for artists looking to explore their musical careers.  Applications for the 2023 edition of MTN Bushfire Firefly are now open! MTN Bushfire is very excited to announce more of the amazing artists for the upcoming MTN Bushfire festival, happening from 26 th -28 th   May, 2023. As regular fans of MTN Bushfire know, the line-up is always an exciting mix of top names they know and love, as well as perhaps less well-known discoveries from around the globe that never fail to amaze and inspire. Discovering new artists and music styles is one of the highlights of every MTN Bushfire weekend, and further announcements will be made in the coming weeks.   This year, the line-up is more diverse than ever and is headlined by a power-house female line-up, led by the Afro-Cuban-French twins   Ibeyi , South Africa’s   Sho Madjozi   and Angolan singer   Pongo , whose   hybrid sounds mix Kuduro, melancholic pop, dancehall and EDM with lyrics both in Portuguese and Kimbundu. Over 11 000 guests from all over the world gathered together over three days within the never to be missed newly upgraded MTN Bushfire spaces and campsites . The festival was once again completely sold out based on the reduced capacity required for COVID-19 safety protocols. With 3 stages and over 70 acts, MTN Bushfire 2022 was a resounding success. There's literally everything for everyone at MTN Bushfire. M ore than a music festival, MTN Bushfire also runs a number of important cultural development initiatives. Prior to the festival kicking off the public, the annual Schools Festival took place with young people from the local community taking part in a two-day arts education project.
