MTN Bushfire Arts Roundtable Partners with ARMC

As the MTN Bushfire Festival once again returns to a physical edition, taking place from 27-29 May 2022, the festival is once again proud to host the annual Arts Round Table that aims to increase knowledge and skills within the Eswatini artistic community.  For the 2022 edition, MTN Bushfire is excited to announce a partnership with the  Africa Rising Music Conference  (ARMC),  a new, female led, executive-focused music industry conference that promises to be a game-changer for African music and its connection to the European market. After a long and draining episode of 2020, the annual INK KASI EXPERIENCE is back again to serenade the souls of lovers of fun. Ink Kasi being a movement that seeks to elevate and unite the people, voiced out their stand against the gender based violence imposed on women and children by men. The build up to the main event on the 16th of December saw a strong presence of athletic bodies, young and old taking a walk from the Princess Magogo stadium to the Freedom park in Kwamashu, in support of standing against this harsh hazard of violence and abuse.  The stars are aligning and the stage is set for them to shine upon the Ink Kasi experience come the 16th. The Middelburg Soulful Night 2020 festival to replenish the soul

After months of lockdown desolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, soul music lovers are in for a treat on 21 November 2020 at the Middelburg Banquet Hall in Mpumalanga. An eclectic mix of soulful artists will converge in the Mpumalanga town for a night to remember. They vary from Samthing Soweto, Theo Kgosinkwe, Brian Temba, Presss to Simmy, Blaq Diamond and Encore. DJs on the line up are DJs TBose Mokwele, KK, DJ Emza, Peter. The proceedings will be MCd by comedian Peter Mashata. Tickets cost R250 per person and are available at Computicket. Doors open at 17.00. Alcohol will be sold. In line with the stipulated Coronavirus pandemic regulations of level 1 lockdown, masks will be provided at the door, and social distancing will be enforced and managed with the limited number of tickets on sale.                               A Show for Women by Women  The Women's Day Celebration by Lady Nesh is a celebration of the lives of women, women who strive and work hard to make their mark in the music industry. With the aim to create awareness and support each other in their respective musical journeys, from Djs to music producers, the ladie's passion for music brought them together to celebrate their sistahood in music.                                                 Lady Nesh "With the rate Gender Based Violence against women and children has been rising during the lockdown, we felt a need to create awareness and continue the conversation in support of the GBV survivors. The show empowers women and remind them of their worth, strengths and of course to remind ourselves that our lives matter. NEW SCORPION KINGS LIVE DATE CONFIRMED

Pretoria, South Africa  – Following the postponement of the Scorpion Kings Live concert earlier this week, event organiser Glen21 Entertainment together with the Amapiano superstar duo Scorpion Kings today confirmed the new show date.   With the current uncertainty around COVID19 over the next few weeks, the team is closely monitoring the situation and have pushed the live show out to later in the year. The show is now confirmed to take place on Women’s Day,  Sunday the 9 th  of August  at the Sun Arena in Pretoria. The 3-hour long, first-of-its-kind curated show will feature live performances from a string of talented South Africa artists to be announced over the next few months.
